SellChat — Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the SellChat service and WordPress plugin, operated by Refresh Group / Robin Dijkstra, Oostergoweg 1-4, Dokkum, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By creating an account or installing the plugin you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SellChat provides an AI chat widget for WooCommerce that recommends products from your catalog, plus a hosted backend and dashboard. The plugin is licensed under the GPLv2 (or later); these terms cover the hosted service.

2. Accounts & API keys

You need an account and API key to use the service. Keep your key confidential; you are responsible for activity under it.

3. Plans, limits & billing

• Free: 50 conversations/month. Paid plans raise the limit (see the dashboard for current pricing).
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Mollie and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
• A "conversation" is a single chat session, counted once. Reaching the limit pauses the AI chat (the widget falls back to a contact form) until the next period or an upgrade.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service unlawfully, to send prohibited content, to reverse-engineer or overload the service, or to resell it without agreement. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of your catalog and customer data. You grant us the rights needed to provide the service (including sending relevant content to our sub-processors — see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents for processing your visitors' data.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for your catalog and for reviewing recommendations where needed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost sales or profits).

8. Termination

You may stop using the service any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach of these terms. On termination your data may be deleted.

9. Changes & law

We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
